From my perspective it’s important to make sure that everything we write is in line with scripture & what we know to be true about the nature of God & His Son in the Bible. If it contradicts this it probably isn’t from God! As a general rule Gods voice stills, leads, reassures, enlightens, encourages, comforts, calms & convicts us. But satans voice rushes, pushes, frightens, confuses, discourages, worries, obsesses & condemns us. In terms of false hope… (Galatians 5) tells us that the ‘fruit’ of having Gods Spirit living in us is ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self control.’ When we ask God to encourage us through His Holy Spirit in things like prophetic journalling we often need these qualities, especially patience, & most of all faith! (Hebrews 11) tells us “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for & certain of what we do not see.”
