Rob, I absolutely love this article and the insight. The video/song is such an incredible tool to support these ideas. I am really grateful for your teaching gift.
“So many people are crying in their latte.” What a simple truth to remind us to get out of our own way and reach out to those “crying in their lattes”.
My eldest daughter painted an incredible picture years ago that ties into this. It depicts a girl leaning over her coffee, in a cafe with all sorts of creatures hauntingly crouching around her. Currently, this daughter is not walking with the Lord but the painting exemplified the swirling emotions (demons) that so many deal with, daily.
I am encouraged in the Lord for my daughter to return to a loving relationship with Jesus and be in step with Holy Spirit. I am especially encouraged due to the testimony that Aliss shared about your own daughter walking away into a difficult situation but you and Aliss simply trusted that the Lord would bring her back. Aliss shared that the two of you prayed blessings over your daughter and for the person that was leading her astray. God took care of everything as you chose to bless in prayer and not curse.
Recalling this testimony, helps ME to not cry in my latte and this article helps to remind me to be on the lookout for others crying in theirs. THANKS!
