It has helped me understand why I keep coming under the enemy’s attack in certain areas. I have realised that I keep agreeing with the lies. Your explanation of the way evil spirits will try to influence us was also helpful as it reminds me that it’s a daily battle and not just a one-off deliverance issue. I feel like I can now explain things to friends now too. Thank you.

It reminds me of “the courts of heaven’ by robert henderson. ( from Kerry-ann in New Zealand )

Thank you Joe for your comments, I agree wholeheartedly with what you say. This article is just on one point, but as you’ll see from our videos and other teachings, our lives are about surrendering to Him in everything. One of my favourite verses is Galatians 2:20 and I aim to live by that. Aliss

People who believe in numbers or feng shui are just as anxious, up-tight and paranoid as I would be if I chose to live that way.

So, I choose instead, to have an overcoming journey with the Lord, where He shows me pearls of wisdom – little by little – and I aspire to obey and follow what He directs and provides. Yes I would like instantaneous healing, but I do not want to miss a transformational journey with the Lord. Getting whole is great, but there is another facet of christian life which is more important. Every time we pray, or pray sections of God’s word back to Him, or sing a hymn or spiritual song, there is a spiritual transaction occurring, whereby Christ as the Life-Giving Spirit within us, is dispensing His life into us – transforming, renewing, conforming us to His image. Why? Because He is lonely, and wants a counterpart who matches Him. To match Him, we have to be saturated with Him, and this is a process which takes time, heat and pressure – just like making precious stones for His building.

I have difficulty with organized christianity, because they have so many versions of God’s word, which seem to change the meaning, so that it is all about us, and what we want, and how God has such a wonderful plan for us etc. But if the verses have the correct nuances, we realize it is about Him, and what He wants. But yes, I do believe in much of what you say, but only in context of seeking what He desires first. In this regard, (please don’t be offended by this) I perceive that God sees organized christendom like a ten year old girl with her mother’s high heeled shoes on. But don’t worry, because He loves all who trust in Him, but there has to be a journey of maturation, and normally that includes some hardship or suffering (the cross). But in christendom, there is a flavor of secretly wanting to bypass the cross, and get everything we want on our checklist. But I expect that if that happens, it may be sad, if it has to be followed up with a disciplinary journey with the Lord, further down the track. That is why it is so important to receive the apostles teachings, and not to wrap them in cotton wool, or to only take out the bits we like. The type of obedience to the Lord that I am promoting, involves a cost on our part (loving not our soul-lives – even unto death). It is a price all christians will have to pay – either now, or later. That is why the Lord’s Word says “Daniel, oh man much loved”. Because Daniel’s obedience was at another level. Loving our soul lives, (I believe) means doing what we want.

Thanks for your enthusiasm in your work.

Kind Regards, Joe Healy.
